Marie Moynihan, Marketing Manager at Newsweaver said, “We needed a new strategy that would allow us communicate with customers more frequently and efficiently, and which would allow us do so with more timely, targeted, relevant content. The communications strategy also needed to help us build relationships with our customers by providing valuable best practice information and practical “how to” material for their Newsweaver account. We also needed to increase customer engagement and open a meaningful channel for two-way communication”.
The CRM/Customer Care Award which Newsweaver has been shortlisted for is judged on the successful deployment of CRM and Customer Care strategies. Key indicators include the effective alignment of corporate goals, business objectives and marketing strategies, together with a refocusing of the organization to achieve results. According to the MII “Customer Relationship Management is not just technological, but rather it is primarily about strategies to create and maintain lasting relationships with customers. Such a focus on customer retention and development can require changes in the organisation’s overall marketing processes, including sales and customer service”.
Marie Moynihan stated, “We are absolutely delighted to be short-listed for the CRM/Customer Care award for our new customer communications strategy. Before it, we were challenged with not only supporting our new business efforts but also with retaining our existing customer base. By implementing the new strategy we have achieved a lift in customer engagement in both our open rates and click through rates. This tells us that our customers are finding the information relevant and engaging.
The finalists in the CRM / Customer Care category are Aviva Health Insurance, Hidden Hearing, The Irish Times and Vodafone Ireland. Entries will be judged by a prestigious panel of marketing practitioners and experts who will evaluate entries against a set of criteria specific to each Award.
