Account Administrators can help reset the password for users in an account. It is important to note a password reset will involve a password reset link being sent to a user, passwords are not manually changed by an Admin, users can also perform a password reset. Use the instructions below to reset a password for one of your users.
How to Reset a User’s Password as an Admin:
As an Account Administrator, you can reset the password for any of the users in your Newsweaver account by completing the steps below:
- Navigate to the ‘Admin’ drop-down and click ‘Users’.
- In the Users screen, you will see a list of the users in your account. Locate the user you’d like to reset the password for and click ‘Reset Password’.
Note: If the user does not appear in the list, you can use the search box to locate the user.
- Click ‘Confirm’ in the next window and a password reset link will be sent to the users email address.
Note: The password reset link expires after 2 hours, the user must access the link and reset their password before this. Otherwise, resend the link or contact Newsweaver Support. The user can click the reset link to request an additional reset email, this link will also expire after 2 hours.
